I have just added a page of baskets patterns I sell for $5.00 They include patterns for the following baskets: 10" &12" egg, 10" Key, 10" Hen, Footed Yarn, Holiday reed bells and Holiday stocking.
At this time I do not sell kits through the mail. Thank you for your inquiry. Sharon
Ms. Schaeffer. Good morning, I hope you're still out there. Looking at the picture of your Josephine knot basket and reading your blog, I spent two days trying to weave one and ultimately gave up. I thought the knot would be the hard part and it would be a breeze after that, but the know only took a few minutes and after that it was a disaster. I wouldn't keep the ends of the ribs from popping out once they were tucked into the opposite end. At first I thought it was because I was tucking them in too soon, so I wove a few more rows, but it still did it. I finally took it all apart in disgust. Do you have any suggestions or can you point me toward a pattern? I was using size 6 reed so I was thinking of trying it with something a little thinner and more flexible. Thank you. Kathy Wulff
I wonder if you sell patterns. I was looking at an antler basket on your site from a 2018 conference/showing. oval wood base and 2 antlers for handles, no name displayed. Thanks for your response. Love your beautiful work.
Hi Sharon, I’ve made Nantucket baskets in the past, about 20 years ago, and am in desperate need of a refresher course. Do you ever teach Nantucket’s? Thanks, Trish
Sharon do you sell patterns or kits for your baskets?
