Waxed Linen Cord Pendant

To complete the pendant I add some bead
enhancements and jewelry cording.

Working with waxed linen is a treat you can give yourself after weaving with cane and reed.  The warmth of you hands reacts to the wax in the cord to give your fingers a mini makeover.

I have been working with different color combinations in round 2" diameter disks to use as a pendant.  Using 32 spokes that are woven in a continuous weave, the pattern begins with twining two colors.  A third color weaver is added to allow for the 3 rod wailing pattern.  The zigzag pattern occurs by shifting to a reverse 3 rod wail weave.
The outer edge returns to twining three rows and finishing with a braided border.
